Miranda Lambert Crisis K9
Trained in Anxiety and PTSD
to Visit With Family's Following a Life Changing Traumatic Event.
Miranda is the first K9 to be specifically trained for PTSD in the Trauma Industry to aid in the emotional recovery for family and friends immediately following a life changing traumatic event from a homicide or suicide in a home or business. Miranda is a 25 pound Miniature Australian Sheppard that was adopted by DNR's Minnie Aussies in Salem, Alabama. Miranda's smaller size, softer coat, engaging blue eyes and affectionate personality made her a grand choice for her future in helping those recover from traumatic events.
Miranda's training started almost immediately. Her social engagement to the public is an everyday event. Everyone loves her name and she is automatically engaged to people because her name is fun and so recognizable. She loves to enter big box stores and greet people and you would never know she is under a table in a restaurant. She loves to hand out kisses, so we like to say that Miranda Lambert K9 has a licker problem. Miranda's puppy, advanced training and Service Dog training was entrusted and enlisted with Dog Training Elite out of Atlanta, Georgia.
Miranda's primary Handler is Gordy Powell and her Co-Handler is Rachel Strawder both of Georgia Clean in Marietta, Georgia. Georgia Clean is a Trauma Service cleaning company that has been aiding families in trauma related services since 1996. Both Gordy and Rachel are involved in the daily care and training of Miranda.
We have fun with Miranda's buzz words. For example if Miranda needs to go potty, she simply goes back stage. Her rides in the truck is "Let's go to the tour bus" and her command for shaking hands is "Autograph".
Love Grows Where Our Miranda Goes....

Oh, but Love grows where our Miranda goes And nobody knows like me …
She talks kinda lazy And people say she she's crazy And her life's a mystery Oh, but Love grows where our Miranda goes And nobody knows like me
